For the past two years I have been obsessed with Lancome’s La Nuit Tresor. The obsession started after I watched a perfume vlogger’s review of the fragrance. After her review I immediately looked up the notes and reviews on Fragrantica.com. After seeing the full list of notes and all the positive reviews, I knew I had to smell it. I looked at Ulta, Sephora, Macy’s, and Nordstrom’s and none of them carried it! Finally, I looked online and found that Dillard’s sold it in store. That afternoon I made the trip to Dillard’s and buried behind 5,000 versions of La Vie Est Belle I found La Nuit Tresor!

Finding La Nuit was like searching for buried treasure which is appropriate because of it’s name and it’s gorgeous bottle which is shaped like a diamond. Just like a diamond, this perfume is rare and special. So, what does it smell like?
- Top Notes: Pear, Bergamot, and Tangerine
- Mid Notes: Vanilla Orchid, Rose, Strawberry, and Passionfruit
- Base Notes: Patchouli, Payprus, Incense, Vanilla, Coffee, Caramel, and Litchi.
There are so many fragrance notes in this perfume that one would think it smells like a complicated mess, but what you get in this fragrance is a gorgeously blended bouquet of warm, sweet fruit and vanilla. The notes that stand out on my skin and in the air are strawberry, rose, pear, incense, caramel, vanilla, and litchi. Just because it’s fruity doesn’t mean it’s light and fun, this is a heavy hitting fragrance that lasts for hours. I wore this in December with a scarf, two months later I pulled out the scarf and it still smelled like I had just sprayed it!

La Nuit is a romantic fragrance that is decadently sweet, fruity, and soooo smooth. I love that it’s an oriental without being spicy. I find that when I wear this fragrance, it feels dark, mysterious, sultry, luxurious, and just plain yummy.
While you can wear this fragrance anytime of the day or year, to me, it is screams cold temperatures, Christmas, and date nights.
I’m not sure why La Nuit is so hard to find when it’s such a successful fragrance, but you can still find it for sell on Lancome’s website and on Amazon.com.
